Alison has an interesting background as an entrepreneur. She was a political activist for almost 20 years, working directly under President Cyril Ramaphosa and many other remarkable leaders of that time.

Since its launch in August 2024, Alison’s memoir “Belonging: Finding tribes of meaning” has been met with critical acclaim, having been featured in 10 global publications and 25 articles published in South Africa.
